You can calculate your gasoline in a simple way. As an example we will use the following data your car drives 1 in 15. So that means you need 1 liter of gasoline for every 15 kilometers. You can also calculate it the other way around. Suppose you drove 150 kilometers with 100 liters. Then your car will drive 1 to 15 just as indicated in the example. What types of gasoline are there?
Most cars have Euro 95, Euro98, Diesel or LPG. You can often do longer with a liter of gasoline than with a liter of LPG. Calculating petrol is not only based on consumption but also on price. Often you don’t want to know what it costs in liters to drive a car but what it costs in euros. There are online sites where you can compare gas stations in your area. These prices are usually refreshed daily. For example, there is a site that shows a green picture where it is cheap, orange at average and red at more expensive gas stations. If you are going to calculate gasoline consumption then you need to find out how many liters you used and the number of miles you drove. If you have this data then you can calculate the fuel consumption. You do this by dividing the number of kilometers by the number of liters. Here, for example, 1 in 20 comes out. Calculating the price of gasoline

You’re dealing with daily prices so calculating a really fixed price per liter of gasoline is almost impossible. However, your driving style can also affect consumption, although in most cases this is negligible. The more gears you have the less you consume. An air conditioner can also affect up to 13% more consumption. And as a business owner, you could reclaim the VAT. These are all factors that affect the cost.
Why gasoline?
Often this is cost-related. A car consumes gasoline, diesel or is electric. Those are the three main fuel users. It is often the case that one has to pay more tax for a diesel car than for a gasoline one. Gasoline is more expensive, but if you compare it to a diesel, it can be quite interesting prices. For a diesel car, you pay on average 3 to 4 times more in taxes per month than for a gasoline one.
